For your convenience, we have listed FAQs and Terms and Conditions which pertain to every reservation. Should you have any additional enquiries, please be sure to contact us by telephone, email or, if your stay has already commenced, please ask a member of our staff for assistance.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Guest House has 3 floors with a ramp at the main door if and when required. Rooms 1 and 2 are have disabled facilities.

ARRIVAL

While booking or checking in, a valid debit or credit card must be presented. This is to ensure payment outwith our cancellation policy, non arrival, additional costs incurred during your stay/damages/telephone/breach of smoking policy etc.

BREAKFAST

Monday to Friday 7.30am – 9.30am
Saturday to Sunday 8.00am – 10.00am
Breakfast is included in the price, a selection of choices are available.
Breakfast orders are taken the evening before.

CANCELLATIONS

Standard Rates – Any cancellations must be made 6 days prior to your date of arrival, otherwise you will be charged for the full length of your intended stay. Full payment on arrival.  Non Refundable / Promo Rates – Full payment is taken when booking is made and cancellations are not possible.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT

Check in’s are from 2.00pm to 5.00om. Check out is by 11am. For late check ins, please call 0750 368 4002 in advance for a member of staff to meet you on arrival.

DAMAGE TO HOTEL PROPERTY / LOSS OF KEYS

Any charges incurred for damage to hotel property or for loss of keys must be settled at reception prior to departure.

GUEST ENTRY

We reserve the right to refuse a guest entry and accommodation if the management reasonably considers that the guest is under the influence of drink, drugs; is unsuitably dressed or is behaving in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner. The hotel reserves the right to require a guest to leave if he/she is causing a disturbance, annoying other guests or hotel staff or is behaving in an offensive manner. No refund will be given to any guest that is asked to leave in any of the aforementioned circumstances.

GUEST LOUNGE

The lounge should be used no later than 10.30pm.

LOSS / DAMAGE

The hotel shall not be liable to a guest for any loss or damage to property caused by the misconduct or negligence of a guest or an act of God. Guests will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury that they may cause at the hotel.

PARKING

Unfortunately we cannot allow private parking in the driveway. There are ample spaces available at the rear of the guest house.

PETS

No pets allowed accept guide dogs.

RESERVING A GUEST ROOM

Our official website is the only booking platform where the best rates are guaranteed. Bookings can be made online or by telephone. Should you find that your preferred dates are not available through our online system, please phone the hotel to access real-time availability. You can pay a deposit for your room should you wish to but it is not essential to secure a booking. We accept cash in sterling (GBP), all major debit and credit cards.

SMOKING

We operate a strict no smoking policy including the use of e-cigarettes . If a guest smokes in their room a charge of £50 per room will be made to their credit/debit card in order to fumigate the room(s).

WHERE IS THE GUEST HOUSE

Glasgow Guest House is ideally situated 4 miles from Glasgow City Centre.

WIFI

The Glasgow Guest House has wireless internet throughout the house although due to it being a traditional sandstone building the signal can differ throughout.
